I wouldn't be surprised to be honest :)
From the original Flikr page:
This official White House photograph is being made available only for publication by news organizations and/or for personal use printing by the subject(s) of the photograph. The photograph may not be manipulated in any way and may not be used in commercial or political materials, advertisements, emails, products, promotions that in any way suggests approval or endorsement of the President, the First Family, or the White House.
Nothings saying no lols please though, so I think that's legally acceptable and binding

It's (mainly) bullshit
It can't be used in ways suggesting an endorsement by the subjects, but as a work of the US federal government, the law specifically says they can't claim copyright or prevent derivative works.

Haha!
That's exactly what I thought when I saw the pic.
But then I thought, "Maybe not, PSN has been down for a week or so."
But then I thought, "Aha! That's why it's been down, the septics took it over for this."

they do use a massive number of linked together PS3's to do their calculations
it's looking increasingly like this is exactly what happened.

Yes well.
All I can say is that the US war on terror disabling the PSN put a considerable dent in my war on terror in Mass Effect 2.

However you can explain to the wife and kids when I go 'missing'.

Does this Internet thing have an 'undo' button??

Maybe it's a bit like that Mel Gibson film
'Conspiracy Theory'
you've actually stumbled onto the truth and re-shopped a pre-shopped photo back to it's original state
Send me a postcard from Guantanamo!
