My sister-in-law's inheritance was part of the deposit on our current place, and I couldn't afford to pay her off during this move. That and rendering them destitute would probably be seen as a bit of a dick move.
I'm really not keen on the idea of moving, but this place would mean that we could park all of our cars off the road. Daughter burst into tears at the thought of changing schools, though, despite the fact that she stands to gain the most, so it'll probably come to nothing.
