Cameron's already played the dead kid card
Next time I'm sure it'll be the pregnant wife card.

he played it twice last night
once for his opwn kid
and again for the man who's house was burgled and they set his sofa on fire killing his kid.
Horrible story, so no surprise to see cameron using it as a political point-scorer. The cunt.

thing is with the tories
they do have some good policies but he is such a cunt.
Now Cleggy is a dreamboat* - I'd vote for him even if he promised to drown all kittens.

i was impressed by Nick Clegg.
But I wish he had've actually said what his views on Trident are!

well said Griffy,
quite a number of sound policies, but such a stifled and uninspired choice for a mouthpiece
/or ringpiece, it's often difficult to tell

Hasn't Brown got a dead kid as well?
I'd vote for Clegg on the grounds that the other two seem really fucking careless

brilliant
I have yet to see this 'debate' I missed it last night

It wasn't great, but it was ok.
Nick Clegg looked the most comfortable and impressive in my opinion. Gordon Brown seemed good to me apart from when he was trying to be funny. David Cameron looked terribly uncomfortable to me, which I mainly found surprising because of his PR background.
And I liked Gordon Brown's tie.

The make-up they had given Cameron gave him that weird
'uncanny valley' look that he had on the posters. It was strange seeing him move around - reminded me of an Auton.

I thought Brown did loads better than Cameron, so I was surprised when the opinion polls said otherwise.
I also thought the pink tie was a good move.
Clegg came across by far the best, but he went on about Trident a few too many times. I suspect in the next debate he might have to work a bit harder because the other two will tear him apart.

As I said last night, in my wholly unbiased view,
the polls were run by ITV.
The kind of people who would vote in a poll on the ITV website are most likely morons, and therefore probably read The Sun or The Daily Mail.
If they read The Daily Mail, they are most likely Tories at heart.
If they read The Sun, they probably were fooled into being tory voters just because it said to be on the front page a couple of months back,.

It was a lot better than I imagined it was going to be.
And the Cleggster did do pretty well, on balance.

Yes, that was rather cringe-inducing on the part of the other two.

He mentioned Trident about a billion times though.
And he also said "squillion" which I thought was a mistake.

There are highlights on the Guardian site
though they appear to have a totally different definition of "highlights" to me
