# Heh,
I went to see a play of The Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner when I was at school.
It got to that bit when Fate and Death are playing dice for the Mariners life. Death picked up the dice, shook them in his hand, rolled them and someone in the audience shouted "YAHTZEE!"

# Ha ha ha!
Humorous hecklers are all too rare a breed.

# I saw Mike Mc Shane dying on stage at the Hackney Empire
once; it was hard crowd to please, and he was doing his "Shout out a title and a style and I'll make up a song" shtick which was becoming tired by then. Someone had already shouted out "Funny and fast" which got a huge laugh; Mc Shane struggled on until some bloke got out of his seat, walked to the back of the auditorium and shouted "Taxi for the comedian!" How we laughed.

# I wish it had been,
it was the first play I had ever seen (not counting pantomimes and an end of pier special starring Derek Griffiths).
