# I'm writing a kid's story for my four year old nephew

it has dinosaurs in it :)
I've drawn and traced a cartoon for the story but does anyone know how I can blow this up without it pixelating like crazy? (serves me right for working on such a crap jpeg I suppose)

# Hahahaha
Yep, I set myself up for that one :D

# Hmm
well, that retort leaves me a bit 'saur!

# That's a great dinosaur.
I don't have much of a clue about blowing stuff up, really (those accusations were never proved) but this might help: vectormagic.com/home I think if you convert it to a .svg you can blow it up as big as you like! ^^

# Thanks - that looks like it'll do the trick
:)

# The trouble is that now you've saved it as a jpeg it'll have artifacts, which will be made bigger when you blow it up.
Unless you saved the psd, or equivalent in whatever program.

# Also, WHERE ARE THE FUCKING RAINBOWS?
(, Mon 10 May 2010, 16:13, archived)
# Well, that's torn it.
Looks like I'll have to retrace once I've enlarged the image.
And from now on all my pictures will be mahoosive :)

# I'm no expert. There might be an easy way that I don't know about, it wouldn't surprise me.

# what have you drawn it in?
If it's a bitmap then there's no way to really make it bigger without it going all "Scrungy" on you.

If it was a vector then you could scale it to anysize no probs. There is a site called vectormagic that allows you to vecorise bitmaps but they ask for payment now....
Edit: As Crystalmeth says up above.

Then saved as a jpeg

That might take a while though.
