# I took the Fourier transform of a Tim Tam. A type of chocolate biscuit.
Also biscuit must be horribly mispronounced in my presence. :(

# Wow. fft biscuits.
Tim Tams are ok, I guess.

Ah, I see the model interested you....

# haha, yeah it seemed like something I should have a vauge idea about.
Anyway I sent an email to my terrorist friend in physics, asking if he had any ideas. There may be a friendly phd student in on the of the theory groups that might be able to help. Some people in the condensed matter group might be able to help but they are probably all slightly disinterested. Nor would they be keen to hear from me after I wasted their vacation scholarship money a while ago...*whistles*

# Ah, condensed matter would be the thing.
I might have to make the walk over.

How did you waste the scholarship money? Hookers and blow?

# Not that we don't appreciate your company here,
but,

isn't it stupid O'clock where you are?

# Yep.
Off to bed soon. Been a busy day. Gave another magnetism lecture and missed out on a free trip to Chicago.

# Yarp.
Birdwatching would have been good in Chicago in the summer, but they're only sending Ph.D students as they can get travel funding.
Anyhoo, I'm off to bed.
Night all!

# They gave me an account on a cluster machine. Told me to modify input files and run code.
I did. Then sat in a stinky fly infested office reading phd comics and lusting after the chick in high energy. It wasn't really my fault that the code didn't converge after a week of computation. It's probably my fault she doesn't talk to me any more.
(, Wed 26 May 2010, 15:23, archived)
# Bloody code.
You should have asked her if she'd like to converge with you some evening after drinks...

This is why scientists often find it hard to make relationships.

# I see no beverage.straw function.
These Tim Tams are alpha.
