# Oh god you mentioned Chernobyl and mutants and now I am going to argue:
Large doses of radiation do not manifest themselves as physical mutations as suggested. Instead you'll get acute radiation sickness, your skin will go black and similar will happen to your insides. You will die.

Small doses of radiation are not well documented. A majority of the excavation team working in the Chernobyl clear-up effort suffered heart-disease rather than cancer.

Natural selection plays a part should the radiation dose affect the genes of the young in the wild. Most of the time those with mutated genes wont survive birth.

I LIKE YOUR PICTURE BUT I CANNOT COPE WITH THE WHOLE RADIATION/MUTANTS/GLOWING GREEN GOO/CHERNOBYL THING.

# I know I watched a program on the animals of chernoybl
there were some mutations.. like blue breasted birds came up red for a generation but then promptly died out because no one mated with them.

pretty poor showing nature.

however; cultural touchstone is still a cultural touchstone.

ALSO: the link between chernobyl and mutations isn't expressed. I just felt pigeons can't really understand the implications from visiting the site and would be better suited to disney world.
