I think he should do Bangles / Walk Like An Egyptian
Just to witness the massed chaos of people trying to whistle the intro and giving themselves an embolism... ;-)

I have no cash
I have no style
I have no girl to make me smile.
I was wondering what I ought to do. Now I know. Ta!

If I want happy from the radio, it has to have an absolutely cracking intro, so
Savage Garden / Affirmation
or John Parr / St Elmo's Fire (Man in Motion)
Happy lyrics though, maybe
Monkees / I'm a Believer
Smash Mouth / All Star

It's the one from the end of Mystery Men.
Hey now, you're an all-star, get your game on, go play,
Hey now, you're a rock-star, get the show on, get paid.
All that glitters is gold,
Only shooting stars... break the mo-old.
OK, never mind. Do you know Len / Steal My Sunshine instead then?
No, oh well, I think I'm running out.

Hmm...
Clearly a drawback there. I'm guessing you can't do the 'Aquarium' from Camille Saint-Saens's 'Carnival of the Animals' either..?

Jah Wobble's Invaders of the Heart's "Wonderful World"
always puts a big smile on my face. Just listened and I'm smiling now.
Unfortunately can't find it on yoochoob, or an URL for the lyrics

That's replaced the other song that was on my brain this morning.
It was "Guide me oh thy great redeemer" for some reason ;)

These are magic -- I mean it.
Ever noticed your Friday gets better immediately upon seeing DTH has posted a HFS, even before you watch it through and sing along? Magic, I tells you!
Edit: ...though I reckon better advice would be: "1. Don't worry; 2. Be happy; 3. Find a constructive response that is more fun and effective than worrying -- you'll find that almost anything qualifies!"
