(my rectal cysts that is)

If I log on to b3ta and see three or four images that deal in the kind of chan-inspired, unfunny, racist stereotypes that you portrayed in your image, I'm not going to want to post here, because however those images are intended to be taken (literally or ironically) they ALL look like chan-inspired, unfunny, racist shit, there's no way to tell the difference. Not to me, not to other users, not to new people who might be looking at the board wondering whether to join, and not to hatefilled racists who are just looking for somewhere new to dump their weak shit.
Observe this (and most other) boards for a while and it becomes obvious that the kinds of posts people make are guided by what's perceived to be acceptable. For this reason, I will ALWAYS jump with both feet when I see someone posting something which I feel would encourage the kinds of posts which would make the board into the kind of place I wouldn't want to post. Clearly I am not the only person here who does that. And clearly I was not the only person on here who believed your post fit squarely into that category.
Your reaction to the criticisms you received was disturbing but perhaps understandable. The simple fact though is you posted something on here which many regular users found unacceptable, and you acted aggressively and beligerently when that was made clear to you. Fair enough, but as your comments went on it loooked more and more as if you were defending and justifying the racism you'd depicted. Re-reading them now, it still looks that way, and here you are still feeling aggrieved about it.
To restate, not a threat but a simple fact of the board, post stuff like that and you'll face a shitstorm every time. There's no way myself or many others are going to lamely watch the board turn into the kind of place where ignorant cunts come to publicly celebrate their prejudices, and from my perspective your post is a step in that direction. That's why I, and others, challenged it, and why I would do so again.

but I just had a quick sneaky peek and you are right this (B3ta) is a better site. Although there is a very nice high def pic of that wizardess Emma Watson, and you can almost see her minky. We don't need people to jump ship, do we?

I wasn't intending to stir stuff up, I just saw the later posts mentioning Chicken and Melons and my weird mind went and did that ^
I find b3ta a strange beast in the sense that a lot of the board users/regulars posts some pretty close-to-the-mark stuff. Things that people I know 'wouldn't get' but people on here deem ok. But then on occasion, those regualars deem other posts totally unacceptable.
I, personally, can see the clear distinction between what's acceptable and what would be classed as not, but I do feel that the lines are blurred sometimes. The difference between a racist post and one depicting, say, Maddy McCann, are 2 totally different entities/situations but would still cause the same amount of upset to whoever took offence to them in the particular way they feel upset by (racism/child abuse).
To censor certain things or tell people not to post certain posts is understandable but not (in my reckoning), the answer. This just causes arguments as seen earlier.
People need to (and I point my finger at nobody here), take a bit of responsibilty in what they think may or may not upset the masses...

dead children, queer bashing, drug (ab)use, nazis. but as soon as someone steroetypes someone's skin colour, the whole world and their granny lines up to take a swipe.
draw a line, but with a big curve in it like the A15.

this place is full of hypocrites ready to be judge, jury and executioner on what is or isn't acceptable. I think the difference with 'racism' is that they are programmed and know that if they throw the race card around, it will arouse there ilk and give them some sense of importance in the group. Who knows or cares. I am not a racist, despite what they say--but they will not hear that, nor accept that. So fuck em.

so it is hard to take you seriously. Fact is, that image was directed at 'gangstas' and not black people per se. And it didn't start out being even that--it just evolved as different elements were added.
I do not believe the 'stereotypes' any more than I believe that the Queen is a blow-up doll. But to refrain from depicting such things simply to avoid the wrath of hypocrites programmed to scream "race" is ludicrous.

and I do respect your point of view. You are obviously a kind and tenderhearted person. I like you because of that. You have made yourself clear on this several times. If your feelings on this were universal than I could more easily agree with you more completely, as it is, they are not and so I am not. I have gotten used to repeated japes and jibes regarding Elizabeth, Charles, Thatcher, Bush, and Palin, to name only a few. Nothing is sacred here and only a few things off limits, I have seen Christianity savaged on this board but oddly only rarely Islam, a religion as ripe for satire as any. Chavs are a favorite target here and so are the Welsh. .The French are ridiculed unmercifully. I've even seen black culture, especially American black culture depicted through embarrassing historical lenses repeatedly on this board, golliwogs, lawn jockeys, blackface, vaudeville, ridiculous animated bulging eyes etc. So your concrete stance on this now frankly surprises me. You are taking a high moral ground here, setting yourself as arbiter of what is acceptable and what is not. I live with these kinds attempts to squelch expression, satire and humor and to control language every day of my life, for example any given opposition to the policies of Barak Obama's administration are instantly and axiomatically tagged racist without any attempt at all in responding to the substance of the criticism, and I visit here on B3ta precisely to escape such thoughtless charges. And yet here it is again. Lastly, you are using argumentum ad populum to support your position, fallacious reasoning I reject. I do hope you choose not to abandon the board because your sensibilities are offended. You might be surprised at the umbrage I've swallowed so that I can persist in enjoying the genuine creativity expressed here.
