as a developer I am much more amazed by what they could make those tiny processors and virtually no memory do then than what can be done today!

I kind of prefer the days when games were made by one man and his dog, rather than these flashy multi-million pound productions.
I work for a hosting company, we got a new customer a while back called Frontier Developments, looked at the name on the credit card, David Braben.. had a bit of a nerdgasm :D
