hahaha, Christ.
"Beauty is truth, truth beauty," - that is all
Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know.
EDIT: You could compo it, and deploy the rarely-used 'Orgone Accumulator' defence if called upon to justify such action.

Not necessarily,
but it'd make it more likely to reach and delight a wider (eg dayshift) audience.

Nope. I'm calling them 'unlikely to see a picture posted at around 2am'.
The lardy, waddling gastric-band-busting fuckers.

Or
the 'Reichian Defence' as I believe it's called in extremis.
edit: fuck, I hadn't read this week's compo. Is consilience the word I'm looking for here?

Music For 18 Musicians.
Played it in the car today on the way to Philly, fantastic driving music.

I sincerely hope you have "Neu!" by Neu!
If not, you're in for a treat when you get hold of a copy.

Hang on, though, have you been pretending to go to bed again?
You can bloody well put a few punchlines in to a couple of threads below before you hit the hay properly.

Thanks for the reminder.
I've heard about this album so many times and have never gotten around to grabbing it. I'm about 4 minutes away from 'owning' a copy.
The Wiki page namechecks Eno and Radiohead (and Bowie, and PiL, and Joy Division, and Iggy, and The Horrors, etc. etc.) which is pretty good company to be in.

I don't blame ya.
Can't really go wrong with Kurt Vonnegut.
Pity his output turned out finite. So it goes.

read most of his stuff 20 years ago
recently reread Player Piano, his first, and so very unique in its lack of his later-developed style and catchphrases.

Well if it's book club time:
Behind the Scenes at the Museum by Kate Atkinson is my recommendation.
I've liked all her books, but this is my favourite - definitely the best one to start with if you haven't read any others.

Took a peek.
But looking at the second Amazon review, saying: "Ruby tells the story of her family exploring complex family relationships..." moved it down my list of priorities.
Just about to start BS Johnson's "Christie Malry's Own Double Entry" though, so might return to Kate Atkinson after that.
Should have the newish Roky Erickson record this time tomorrow; will keep y'all posted.

That review isn't doing it any favours.
It's a book of unrelenting melancholy. Which I like.
Christie Malry's Own Double Entry is very good, though, but not as filthy as the title might suggest :)

You could argue that the measures I've outlined would indeed ensure conscilience, in a profoundly classical sense.
But look at this jumble, we're getting all tangled now.

"Prohibited Images of Children"
Sections 62 to 68 of the Coroners and Justice Act 2009 might be relevant.

I think it ultimately depends on whether or not the image "is of such a nature that it must reasonably be assumed to have been produced solely or principally for the purpose of sexual arousal."
