I haven't turned my own TV on for 2 years now.
Unfortunately, whenever I occasionally venture round someone else's, I have to suffer whatever shit they decide to watch. As I so rarely see commercials now, I tend to view them with a horrified fascination as to how bad some of them are.

Commendable. The friends I have who refuse to have a telly in the house seem completely unharmed by the "deprivation".
