Can anyone help answer me a couple of questions:

1: Need to make a credit sequence for a DVD ending, suggested best software for said purpose?

2: Best entry level Chroma key, Greenscreen software for a newb.
(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 11:08, archived)
# OmniGraffle
and Excel.
(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 11:10, archived)
# Hm, when I've had to do credits sequences I've used a combination of After Effects, Photoshop and Premiere
This is one of mine: vimeo.com/20832773 (skip to the end, obvs)
(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 11:10, archived)
# Re credits, I figured it would be a combination of software (one of those above I annoyingly don't have)
Ta for the answer though.

# If you have a program that does text animations, it should be pretty easy
I did credits for my b3ta video on Premiere 1.5 just by listing the names in a text box and having it roll from the start-point to the end-point.

I don't know for sure, but I reckon some older versions of Premiere will be available on the cheap.
(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 11:23, archived)
# I've got a 5+ year old copy of Premiere on the shelf, I'm gonna give it a punt in that.
(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 11:42, archived)
# should do the trick...
think it's done with Add Title...

I'll have a look later if you're having problems, but got to go to work now.

# I did a bit of stuff on AE with greenscreen using the Keylight plugin
quite user-friendly for a beginner and I think the most recent AE has it built in.

I found that the main thing with keying is to get the lighting right, otherwise it's a fucking nightmare. I couldn't really make it work until I used 4-point lighting: Keylight, fill, hair and background... but I think it's possible to make it work with 3-point. It's helpful to have the background as smoothly and evenly lit as possible.
(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 11:16, archived)
# I presumed it wasn't going to be 'easy' but it's starting to look like such a frikkin ball ache to do (and get right)
That I suspect I'm just gonna pay someone to do it for me.
