# what?

# What a stupid policy
If terrorists were going to photograph this shopping centre they would find a way regardless of the ban.

# riiight!
you'd think if you were a terrorist you'd be a little more surreptitious when planning a job

# damn straight
it's very easy to get hold of miniature video/still cameras with half-decent quality that can be easily concealed

wristwatches, cigarette lighers, car keyfobs, ties, baseball caps, sunglasses - and that's just some of the off-the-shelf miniature video cameras that can be bought extremely cheaply from China

I got some sunglasses, wristwatch, cigarette lighter & car keyfob cameras, quite fun little toys really

# 640x480 camera, several hours recording on a single charge, 2gb sd card, a bit of sticky tape
all for less than 10 quid

# I read it differently to you guys...
I took it that they thought the bloke was noncing-it-up by taking photos of his own daughter, and the police decided to abuse the terrorism act to try and take his phone off him.

Sometimes this country just makes me want to weep with impotent fury.....we're all guilty till proven innocent these days.

# welcome to the police state
leave your independant thoughts at the door as you enter

# It's the "we're going to delete these photos" line that really pisses me off
if the photos are illegal, they're evidence of a crime and the police have no right to delete evidence
(, Tue 11 Oct 2011, 8:31, archived)
# and anyone with half a brain knows that there's free software out there that can recover deleted photos from memory cards
stupid police

# similar thing happened in sunderland with a moron security guard
"delete the photographs because they are illegal"

hahahahah dopey twat.

irrespective of legality "OH LOOK YOU HAVE EVIDENCE OF WHAT I THINK IS A CRIME YOU MUST DESTROY IT" retard.

People are far too fucking "THAT'S ILLEGAL" without having a fucking clue what law even covers their circumstances.

MLMLGMLGM I GOT A UNIFORM SO YOU HAVE TO OBEY LMLMGGGLMLGM

I hope there's an opportunity for the dude to sue someone and fuck their day up too.

# indeed
stupid from beginning to end

I recently had a security guard accost me in a local centre for wheeling by bike through it. He asked me if I realised that bikes weren't allowed, I said I wasn't riding it, he said it doesn't matter. I said there are shops in here that sell bikes, he said that was different. I said my wheeled bike is no different to a shopping trolley, he said it didn't matter. I said my bike isn't safe enough locked up outside as I had a package strapped to it. He said it was their policy. I said their policy was stupid. He didn't respond. I said I'd leave when was ready. He called my a cunt. I kicked him in the balls, he yelled for his mother. I comforted him and he stopped crying. We started kissing. We kissed some more. We agreed to meet up later behind the Biffa bins. His name is Keith. We are now happily married with 3 children.
