May I ask you if you hand draw and colour
or do you use a Graphics Tablet if the latter do you have any tips of getting nice lines like yours?

This one is hand drawn, inked and watercoloured
I never got the knack of drawing with my (admittedly cheap, shitty) tablet, I always get a scroteload of tremble in my lines. I use an ultrafineliner and build up the lines more as I go along.

I know what you mean getting the lines just right is a talent on it's own.

I am stealing the phrase 'scroteload of tremble' and passing it off as my own in future conversations.
who needs context, just use it arbitrarily, with gusto!

after you have finished your line art
pop it into illustrator, run a quick 'live trace' and it's all good :) otherwise you have to do it all by hand with specific custom brushes and hand draw over your sketches with the pen tool.
