Talking of face shapes, I've just been told I need to wear glasses for the first time... can any kind glasses-wearing folk out there give me any tips, i.e. dos/donts when purchasing your first pair?

don't get big round ones, they make you look like an owl.
don't get rimlessones, they're shit and break easily.

Seriously, just pic an innocuous pair that don't make you look like a nobhead or a pretentious wanker.

I'll get a simple black pair for starters (I'll wait till I'm more confident before I go for flashing LEDs and ostrich feathers).

legit
I have worn glasses since I was 10, never found a frame style I really like.
Best I coud hope for was something that would resemble what Michael Caine wore... (now there is even a product line! )

I'd be a happy man.
