I can recommend buying Steve Caplin's "How to Cheat in Photoshop CS2" then you will be welding kitten heads onto dogs seamlessly with all the correct colour matching algorithms in no time ;)

I had CS2 and it was great, but had to upgrade to CS5 as cs2 wouldn't install on win7,
it took me a additional 5 mins to try and save an animated gif,
its a clusterfuck of design.
