I think it's the result of over-exerciseSometimes his eyes just bulge the way normal people's do when they're taking a massive shit. He can't help it and I think he's very sensitive about it :(
I watched a couple of his videos ages back. Pretty dull and normal-looking, actually. If I had weeks of time I'd sit there and Freebase every frame of them. Alas, I don't.
