Also, loved the Mars pic earlier, but where is everybody?

The blame can be squarely laid at the feet of a beautiful, late Summer's day.

I was thinking it needed something else... a certain something... and you've added it, thanks!

he already had the hair.
It's weirdly difficult to find pictures of Walter the Softie, have the Beano tried to erase their homophobic past?

Haha - close
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_the_Softy ... read the bit about 'Possible Homosexuality'

I do find it an interesting record of social history
how comics were full of "playful scamps" that all kids wanted to be like, which today would be regarded as little shits who should have asbos at the very least for breaking windows, stealing things, homophobic bullying and the like. (hence my picture yesterday)

And the slippers they'd get, don't forget those.
I tried finding images of slippers - i.e. Dennis getting a smack for being naughty - but nothing, maybe due to it being unacceptable today.
Your picture was a piece of class though and a good point well made!

There is a picture of Beryl the Peril being slippered
by her dad in Google image search. Which sounds really creepy when I write it.

It does!
I remember my sister had a Dennis the Menace board game where you had to avoid the slipper... different times I guess!

I just looked at that
The thing that got me was the bit about Walter having a strange resemblance to Cuthbert Cringeworthy
- not really, they are strips in the same comic, written by the same people, who needed a 'victim' that noboday would like...

:-)
Also nice to see that the alien out of star trek TOS managed to find some work, playing the part of a table lamp there.....

...Also, is Blossom a guilty pleasure?

Hey, I don't know what you mean!
She's a little bit older than me, but I always preferred her mate, six, who was a goer by all accounts (I was a teenager at the time).
Still it's nice Blossom moved on to better things!

Haha, I'm only 10 years older than her, so it seemed OK at the time!
I'm tempted to change my sig, so people wonder what we're on about!

I think you should :)
I also checked out the Big Bang Theory. What is your honest opinion? I mean, really honest opinion?

My honest opinion of the Big Bang Theory.
Is that it's one of the very few programs I actually like, it's no brainer TV I addmit, but I only use the TV to stare at when I'v had a drink, so don't want anything too taxing! it's basicly Freinds with different characters.
Why? don't you like it?

I have to admit, I watch so little TV now
that most of it passes over my head.
However
*phone rings*
-Is he safe?
-He's invisible. How more safe do you want?
-What about his TV habits?
-Fine. Big Bang Theory, which is alright. Few beers, which is also fine.
-Alright then. Can he do the job for us?
-I'm sure of it.
*puts phone down*
I reckon it's alright to answer your question (thumbs up).
