Folks get shouted at for re-posting there, but re-posting means posting something that someone else has posted which more than likely was made by someone else.
I've seen a lot of stuff from here, but a lot of it comes from tumblr, and they got it from somewhere like 4chan.
It's all re-posts of re-posts of re-posts of other peoples stuff

it has this system called "karma" where you you can up or downvote a post, a lot of people just repost other peoples stuff or make some contrived nonsense, being "karma whores".
i must say, it's a great site though, these days i spend most my time over there than here
