I SAID DOES IT REINSTATE THE "START" BUTTON AND ALL OF ITS FUNCTIONALITY?????
SRSLY, Windows 8 is probably ok if you're using it on a tablet. It's a fucking nightmare though if you're using it on a PC and want to do any serious config stuff.

# I believe it can be set up to give you the All Apps view too
which is pretty similar to a start menu, except it takes up the whole screen - but at least isn't an utter waste of time, and learnable.

It feels like a cluttered desktop, rather than a navigation.

I ended up just pinning loads of stuff to the task bar for the sake of quick access.
