I give it slightly better than "meh." Millions of unseen CGI extras probably die in the big fight, but there is no real mention of the disaster's impact. (Same problem as the ruination of another city in Star Trek.)

and I don't like fake hand-held camera effects...

Not only that they destroy huge buildings with loads of people in them, which as we all now know means thousands die, but that EVERY FUCKING MOVIE has to end with a big explody CGI-athon in a major metropolitan area
