It's generally considered to be poor form to delete threads. Someone could have posted the wisdom of the ancients in a reply, and it would be lost to humanity for all time.

it was only me when I deleted it. And it deserved deleting because, on reflection, it didn't make sense in the grand scheme of things. Sherlock chose to jump. He wasn't pushed by the standing cat. The standing cat isn't even in Sherlock Holmes.
