Does anyone remember when the b3ta front page was updated on a daily basis? What happened? It seems that it's become a weekly occurrence. People must look in from time to time and wonder why nothing's changed.

Who here thinks daily updates would be a good thing?

# There's never been a set amount of time
as far as I am aware. It just gets updated when the magic donkey sees a picture that is deemed worthy.

So it probably makes sense that it isn't updated as often now as when there was a new thread pretty much every 10 or 15 minutes. Not so many years ago, if you didn't b3ta your m3ta for a few days it would take hours to spazz back. Now it doesn't take long a all really.

I think we might have to admit that the image challenges are becoming a little stale. There's a sudden burst of reposts and new pictures for the first three days and by Monday, it's tailed off to a dribble. At the same time, we have some excellent suggestions that come second in the vote that are then never heard of again. Why not have a major one on a Thursday and a secondary one on the Monday with the second choice? It'd even out the distribution a bit.
