of the sabre toothed tiger or whatever which was attracted to the meat that stone-age dietetics hadn't yet developed sufficiently to verify as the preferred food of the mammoth and then spotted thak as we know now cats prefer food they can play with first so the tiger pounced over the trap onto thak luckily for thak the tiger's tail swinging heavily as it beat the crap out him triggered the trap causing the cat to flee no doubt in some pain although who knows right?
