# sorry, don't get it
mainly because it's to do with football.

EXPLAIN!

# 7 newcastle players
have been accused of raping some bird.

7 up (see?)
(, Wed 1 Oct 2003, 16:22, archived)
# 7 people from the 'newcastle area'
might be less libelous
(, Wed 1 Oct 2003, 16:23, archived)
# hence why i said
'accused' rather than 'did'
(, Wed 1 Oct 2003, 16:24, archived)
# However, saying
Kermit the Frog, Jermaine Jackson, Lenin, La-La, a Shoal of Ameoba, a St Bernard, Titus Groan.

might be slightly more libellous.

Mod Edit: these are funnier though.

Baz Edit: hahahaha.

# noooooooo!
take that off!

They have shut down hundreds of internet forums this week for naming names.

i couldn't live without b3ta.

Well... I could, but I'd drink more.

edit: HAHAHAHAHA
Nice ;)

# unless you were discussing the terrible injury crisis
at said club
(, Wed 1 Oct 2003, 16:32, archived)
# what? they've all got groin strains!
hahahahahahaha

# it happened in London
and they haven't mentioned which team MAY have been accused, so even mentioning Newcastle is wrong.

(and none of the players mentioned are Geordies either).

edit: well, 1 maybe. But its all nasty rumours anyway.

# There were three
Premiershit teams from outside London playing in London that weekend. One from Murkeyside, one from Brum and one from the north east.

The team from Murkeyside weren't playing until the day after the alledged incident so it was unlikely to be them. The team from Brum didn't have too far to go home so probably wouldn't have stayed over after playing.

I don't believe a word of it.

is minimal.

then?
(, Wed 1 Oct 2003, 16:28, archived)
# ooh you got that mail as well?
isn't this a bit naughty. innocent till proven otherwise??

# to popbitch with you!
now!

#

EDIT: I don't mean it...
(, Wed 1 Oct 2003, 16:24, archived)
# In all honesty
I have been to popbitch once and once only, because I saw it mentioned here a few times. I still don't really know what it means to say something 'belongs at popbitch'. If you mean that you think my post is crap, that's fair enough I suppose.

/edit It's a bit mean to say 'go away' on the strength of not liking my post though, isn't it? I'm not trolling, and I usually post fairly uncontroversial stuff.

# nahh
b3ta is not about bitching about celebrities. Burstslag is where you do that.

# popbitch serves one purpose
and b3ta serves a different one. i think thats what he meant.
(, Wed 1 Oct 2003, 16:28, archived)
# I'm fairly clear about the purpose of b3ta...
to post shopped images.

# Mofaha
Please ignore people who say stuff about clearing off to popbitch.
PB is a place for laguid gossip and side stories about celebs.
Here is a place for images/posts/links that make us laugh/think rather odd.
Your post is an image.
Suits me fine!
(, Wed 1 Oct 2003, 16:37, archived)
# i didnt mean
go away. popbitch post stuff about gossip and celebrities and the like. b3ta doesnt. that is all.
edit: i liked your post. made me laugh. that really is all.
(, Wed 1 Oct 2003, 16:31, archived)
# No, neither did I
I always get into trouble using that one... Perhaps, if I put 'please sod off', people would take it in the manner in which it is intended - i.e., a joke - usually...
(, Wed 1 Oct 2003, 16:36, archived)
# Too late.
I've slit my wrists.
