# That is woo
Like everything you do here.

So.. the question begs. How do you (as British) feel about what happened in Turkey last night?
(, Thu 20 Nov 2003, 17:48, archived)
# Sorry for the families in general
But I'm not gonna start slaughtering any turks, or acting odd to anyone slightly foreign looking
(, Thu 20 Nov 2003, 17:49, archived)
# no
we like to leave that to our senior citizens

# Therein is the difference
me thinks...

All tragedies seem to be "American" tragedies. I believe that the media has alot to do with that.
(, Thu 20 Nov 2003, 17:51, archived)
# I think
it'll be a much more measured response than the ones given by some Americans.
I don't mean that as an anti-American insult, it's just how I see it.

# This is what I meant

# It's not an insult
to call a spade a spade. We're violent, there's no denying it.

# Nope.
Portugal
Land of fado and saudade.

Home of the eternally depressed.

# Sad
shame that people have to use these methods to make their point. It's wrong but so would retalliation in any form and likely there is something that has been done to them that needs to be sorted out.
(, Thu 20 Nov 2003, 17:57, archived)
# But from what I hear
it wasn't the Turks. It was Al Quaeda or something like that. I agree with you though.

WHOA! Did I just actually SAY that I AGREE??? With you???

I do... strange.
(, Thu 20 Nov 2003, 18:01, archived)
# Al Quaeda
strangely are repesenting people who feel they have been shat on by some of the western world - and they have in places. Their methods are wrong but they do have just grevences.

Thats not a popular view but it's right. They arn't evil who are killing for the hell of it - something the world does seem to have forgotten
