Next we'll be on
Ulysses 31
Mysterious Cities of Gold
Battle of the Planets

Trapdoor.

# trapdoor
was on on c4 about 5:50 am a while ago.
(, Wed 7 Aug 2002, 1:38, archived)
# time
for a shameless repost of mine from a week or so ago.

(, Wed 7 Aug 2002, 1:44, archived)
# now i know half of them
i loved captain bucky, captain bucky o'hare. on the righteous indignation. with a thing for toads.

i've seen ulysees 31 as a sort of 6am channel4 thing that just freaked me out.

trapdoor was just sublime.

and jason and the wheeled warriors was fucking ace. but none of my mates remember it.

# Jason thingy
was on when I was on summer hols. From primary school.
Feeling old again...
(, Wed 7 Aug 2002, 1:45, archived)
# i remember it from primary school
it was a sunday morning type cartoon. on at odd times. so i was probably getting repeats of it in my day.

like inspector gadget. but that didn't matter that it wasn't new, cos it was so fecking class. there is not a sixteen year old i know that didn't love inspector gadget. terry thomas even made a guest voice cameo in one episode.
(, Wed 7 Aug 2002, 1:47, archived)
# can't be arsed to make it link
(, Wed 7 Aug 2002, 1:46, archived)
# and yet
no-one remembers the cartoon of the game- pole position. *sigh*

sorry. i must not nostalge...
(, Wed 7 Aug 2002, 1:41, archived)
# actually
i think i might have a vague memory of the intro to it. but not very much.

# i remember pole position
i saw it just before i accidently had some pcp.
it was a truly scary ride home, i can tell you.
(, Wed 7 Aug 2002, 1:45, archived)
# how can you "accidentally" have pcp.
do you mean you consumed it on purpose, thinking it was something else? or did you accidentally think it was a good idea? =)

(, Wed 7 Aug 2002, 1:58, archived)

# i remember PP!

(, Wed 7 Aug 2002, 1:47, archived)
# that theme tune rocked
everyone should go listen to it.
Erm.. purely in a musical sense too the closing theme to Syperted was pretty awesome too - they gave it the full welly.
Not some whiny screeching like nowadays 'the tweenies waaaaaah' or something.
(, Wed 7 Aug 2002, 1:50, archived)
# yeah
which balanced the fact that the cartoon was shite :)
Superted will never be the same to me after i discovered u can get Spotty dildos

(, Wed 7 Aug 2002, 1:35, archived)
# Isadly had a link
that had a stream of the theme to Supergran, but it's dead now I'm afraid. For your pleasure though, ahem...
Stand back Superman, Iceman, Spiderman, Batman and Robin too/Don't want to cause a ruckus for BA Baracus/But I've got a match for you/She makes them look like a bunch of fairies/She's got more bottle than United Dairies/Hang about, look out/For Supergran/She's a serious granny (Supergran)/A serious granny (Supergran)/She'll do things that you never saw your granny do/There's nothing that she cannae do!"
And a goodnighta.

# Supergran made me ill once.
I'm not sure how. I think it was evil psychic powers, but whilst watching it i suddenly felt dizzy, major stomach pains and like my head was full of cotton wool. It was rather worrying and put me off the show. Alternatively, that was all a bad dream I had at the time, with the same effect. Can't remember which, it was a long time ago!
(, Wed 7 Aug 2002, 1:35, archived)
# in case you new folk don't know
the little boy (billy?) in supergran is a semi-lurker workmate of a very bad at lurking when he should be working lurker on here and was at the birthday bash.
