you use ftp to upload the file
use http to display the file
your image tag should look somewhat like this
[img src=http://www.yoursitehere.com/directory/image.gif]
except replace the [ and ] with the point bracket things

ooh hello...
you need to have a look at your other post... i made a vague attempt to explain what was happening and a mod changed the link for you... that's how you want to do it... :)
www.b3ta.com/board/2780126

It's in the link.
I once started up an FTP on my home machine, forgot to password it, came back to find one and a half CDs of "babewatch" in spanned .rar archives in a new directory, and exactly 100k of oriental-sounding names with IPs in a file called 100k.txt.
And no disk space at all.

[EDIT]
It's very very easy to spot. It's critical he changes the password right now.

be nice... please delete that...
i know he's made a mistake but it can be fixed and you could at least avoid drawing attention to the critical info... :/
edit: thanks cupboardy :)

Afterall, we know his email address.

well
the error message I get popping up on each refresh has changed, so I guess the password has been changed by someone. Now if only Eccles would read the advice and edit their post...
edit - Judging by Eccles' lack of response, I'm guessing someone else has changed the password.

I hope they tell him what they changed it to!
Although I suppose blueyonder can re-do it for him.
Just so long as it's no longer accessable by the great unwashed.

Hmm.
Edited. But security via obscurity is no security at all.

i know that...
and have been trying to get eccles to sort it out... but there were people on the board who didn't know and i figure we should try and be nice and minimise the hassle... people spent hours messing around in his account the other night...
