Poser, Flash, then ImageReady. I think I skillfully managed to do everything in the most work-intensive, dumb way imaginable. It would probably have been less hassle to draw it one frame at a time. However, in the process I think I've found some smarter ways to work.
Question: does anyone know how to apply a filter to multiple frames simultaneously in PS or ImageReady?

I know you'll do something cool with it. I didn't get mine online though, so I don't know where you'd find it.

I'm using version 4. I don't think that's the most recent.

record it as an action then just apply it to each really quickly

although damned if I can remember exactly where. there's an "apply edit/changes across all frames" option somewhere.

I'll try that right now...
/edit Looks like that just works on position and opacity, stuff like that. Not filters though. Worth a try, thanks.

you could quite quickly apply it to every layer and then use the make frames from layers tool

also a good idea but still kind of work-intensive... ideally I just want to select all of the layers in the animation, apply a filter, and have it apply to all of them. I'm surprised IR doesn't do that, but there we are.

but not really any quicker than clicking each layer and hitting Ctrl-F to apply the last-used filter... although I suppose an action would save time though if you were applying a sequence of filters to each layer. Good thinking lemony, cheers.
