# That is hypnotic.
And strange.

# hello... hello....hello
wee thats fucking hypnotic
woo

# oh fancy :)
how was it done ?
(, Sun 18 Jul 2004, 3:10, archived)
# I used
Poser, Flash, then ImageReady. I think I skillfully managed to do everything in the most work-intensive, dumb way imaginable. It would probably have been less hassle to draw it one frame at a time. However, in the process I think I've found some smarter ways to work.

Question: does anyone know how to apply a filter to multiple frames simultaneously in PS or ImageReady?

# cool, thanks
anyone have a link to poser ?
(, Sun 18 Jul 2004, 3:21, archived)
# I wish I could help,
I know you'll do something cool with it. I didn't get mine online though, so I don't know where you'd find it.

# i think it's made by curious labs
or at least it used to

# Mine is made by MetaCreations
I'm using version 4. I don't think that's the most recent.

# i think 5 is the newest
it's nifty

# easiest way i can think of
record it as an action then just apply it to each really quickly
(, Sun 18 Jul 2004, 3:24, archived)
# It's possible through a simple change of settings in imageready
although damned if I can remember exactly where. there's an "apply edit/changes across all frames" option somewhere.
(, Sun 18 Jul 2004, 3:27, archived)
# oh aye
propagate frame 1 changes?
(, Sun 18 Jul 2004, 3:28, archived)
# Sounds about right.

# Ah, good thought
I'll try that right now...

/edit Looks like that just works on position and opacity, stuff like that. Not filters though. Worth a try, thanks.

# by using the keyboard shortcuts alt+] and ctrl-F
you could quite quickly apply it to every layer and then use the make frames from layers tool
(, Sun 18 Jul 2004, 3:39, archived)
# Yep
also a good idea but still kind of work-intensive... ideally I just want to select all of the layers in the animation, apply a filter, and have it apply to all of them. I'm surprised IR doesn't do that, but there we are.
(, Sun 18 Jul 2004, 3:50, archived)
# Good suggestion
but not really any quicker than clicking each layer and hitting Ctrl-F to apply the last-used filter... although I suppose an action would save time though if you were applying a sequence of filters to each layer. Good thinking lemony, cheers.

# is that a poser model?
wooyay
(, Sun 18 Jul 2004, 3:15, archived)
# Yep.
The most basic Poser 4 model. I just wanted to play around without getting too fussy, since I'm not at all skilled in Poser. So there she is, let's call her Doris Default.
