# Errr
Isn't everybody taking this "dimebags dead" thing a little too far?
(, Fri 10 Dec 2004, 13:44, archived)
# yes
i personally care very little about the fact. tough. get over it etc.
(, Fri 10 Dec 2004, 13:45, archived)
# And besides....
Dimebag is as good as Hendrix...?

You gotta be fucking kidding me
(, Fri 10 Dec 2004, 13:49, archived)
# Quite...
from a wrestling fan's perspective, there are still people who are blubbing about Owen Hart's death and that was May '99. Sure, it was a big shock when it happened but there's little need for the "we will never forget" bullcrap that's rife online when the anniversary rolls around.

He died too young, and that's always sad, but the only people who can really give a shit are his family and friends. Anything else is just selfish.

Put in perspective, Owen means as much to you as Dimebar means to me.

# Yeah.
I'd agree with that Owen Hart's death was bloody horrible.

You need to get it in perspective, do you want to wallow in someone elses misery or do you just go "shit, that sucks" and shrug your shoulders.

I choose to do neither. I couldn't give a toss about some guy from Pantera.

to Hendrix.

# wow

# No, we just all know Hendrix is king,
and Dimebag's . . . well, not.

#
thats pretty true...

It's like saying a Yugo is in the same class as an Audi TT. Or something.

# Well
even so, I'm not a Pantera fan, though I love my rock and metal. The point is, to be shot 6 times at point blank range halfway through your first song is just fucking brutal, and a horrible way to go, so whatever you think, its still tragic. And for all of you who are bitching saying he's not as good as Hendrix, fuck off also. There's no better of worse, just different!
