# I wouldnt trust 90% of poeple here's music taste
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:23, archived)
# Meh
Some is decent, but there are some good and even great tunes included. There's a lot of 80s. The most mentioned tune was Creep by Radiohead.
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:26, archived)
# I LIKE
MIKE OLDFIELD AND KEANE!!! LOL! ROFLE!

I do, actually. *cries*
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:27, archived)
# One of my best friends likes Keane
Most people would think my music taste is shit
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:27, archived)
# Well
you seem to like (the) Eels, so that alone makes you great. Keane aren't bad,
they just got too popular and now it's a bad thing to like them.
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:29, archived)
# I liked Keane
but overplayed there album, so now i put it on every now and then.

reminds me of summer, and a girl.
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:32, archived)
# Aww... girls.
I wish more things reminded me of girls...

*needs more girls*

*well, one at a time...*

*basically, needs a girl*
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:34, archived)
# too true
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:46, archived)
# Yeah, Eels rule.
I dont dislike Keane, they just seem a bit bland to me, so I cant bring myself to listen to the album.
I would list what I like here but I know SSG would mock it immediately, no matter what it was.
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:34, archived)
# I think Keane
have musical talent, they just (probably not intentionally) went down the path of trying to appeal to lots of people with melodic piano-pop.
It's not that their stuff is bland, it's just more... well.. "Easy listening". Which probably isn't the best.
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:38, archived)
# Ahhhhhhhh
Well, who cares, new Eels album this month and tour month after that.
Oooh yeah.

And Neil Hannon is apparently on the Hitchhikers Guide soundtrack, which is awesome.
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:40, archived)
# Is it? Is he?
Ooh, *keeps an eye open*

I've been listening to the new Beck album for the last week or so. That's rather fine too.
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:43, archived)
# Yeah, Mr Hannon is doing a version of So Long And Thanks For All The Fish
and I like what little Beck I've heard, but never ever bought any of his stuff.
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:45, archived)
# Beautiful stuff.
The main reason I like Beck is that he seems to be a fellow mentalist, like myself. His music is just, well, mad.
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:47, archived)
# I also like Bernard Cribbins
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:48, archived)
# Bonzo Dog?
;)
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:59, archived)
# BECK IS KING!
But he will never repeat and/or better Mellow gold
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:45, archived)
# I still
have a few albums of his to get. But I do like Guero and I can't stop dancing to "E-Pro"
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:52, archived)
# E-pro is really good
I might buy Guero at some point.
Don't get midnight vultures though.
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:54, archived)
# I think it's hilarious
They were once described as a guitar band.
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:41, archived)
# Hate Keane
Love teh Oldfield. He's wot inspired me to play geetar.
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:46, archived)
# Too true.
My favourite album, and I'll happily admit this because I'm drunk, is "The Songs of Distant Earth".
It's the only album which has ever sounded like its been deeply inspired by sci-fi novels and the great unimaginable Universe. Which is a good thing.
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:49, archived)
# Yeah I like that album a lot
Although most Oldfield fans I know say it's new age crap (Rik hates it too I think). Nah I thought the guitar on it was amazing and went well with the synthy stuff. I loved the Voyager album as well. He has some excellent Celtic interpretations. Anyway that's my guff on that. I still say you can't beat his old albums though :D
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 2:52, archived)
# Voyager is great too
There are a few things he did which do sound quite hippy-ish, but he has been rather experimental in his time.
I got hold of Amarok the other day, that's pretty messed up!
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 3:02, archived)
# Oh God!
Amarok is enough to make me jizz hehe. That's a hell of an album. I've sat down many a time trying to work out some of the guitar parts. It's too fecking hard man. That album is incredible. One of the best around in my opinion. Then I could go on about Ommadawn but I digress hehe ;)
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 3:05, archived)
# Still need to get Ommadawn..
Ha ha, your profile is pretty much exactly like mine would be, just swap "Photographer" with "Web designer". I still need to make some money out of it. Just started though so...

*once again, doesn't do any work, just sits there listening to music*
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 3:08, archived)
# Yay!
Lots of respect for you man. Yeah I need to get off my arse and do something. It's catch 22 with me. I need a cam to make money but I need money to get a cam that I can do what I want with. But hey, you're probably in a better career pathway ;)
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 3:13, archived)
# That's yet to be seen...
But soon I will have business cards... BUSINESS CARDS! Then I shall rule the world!!!!! Somehow.

Then, at some point after that, I might have customers... CUSTOMERS*!!! A-ha ha ha!

*unlikely
(, Sat 2 Apr 2005, 3:18, archived)
# World domination!
Ooooh and savour the fact that law on teh web am grey. Very grey. I can see you sitting in a high backed computer chair laughing at the planet as you plot the next....erm....online auction perhaps? ;)
