there's a style of music that the kids listen to these days.

and i call it "average."

tons of bands. maybe they sound slightly different from each other, but they're all in the style of "average."

i can't even name them all.

pavement, the pixies, apples in stereo, the killers, millions of other bands and more coming each day.

but the kids who listen to them listen to what i call "average."

i'm not very good at categorizing these bands as i don't listen much to them, but i know the style when i hear it.

just seems to be increasing in popularity is all i'm saying.

bad would be all the terrible hardcore bands and all the annoying generic family friendly "post-hardcore" and "pop-punk" bands that all sound so similar to me.
