# heh heh heh
I bet Damian Hirst is eggsackerly the same. I wish I was a Young British Artist.

By the way, did you photoshop that squint in? I know she's got squiffy eyes (and everything else) but I din't realise it was that bad...

# I can't stand them
all this 'challenging the way you think about art' is all bollocks.
(, Fri 1 Nov 2002, 16:01, archived)
# well done to them
they've found a way to get payed loads of money for doing fuck all, and talking pretentious bollocks.
(, Fri 1 Nov 2002, 16:07, archived)
# that's fair enough
It's art, innit, so you are entitled to your opinion.
And we can agree to disagree. :)

# No,
I'm right.

I agree with you, had a big discussion about art last night which ended up along the same lines.

# hmm...
i can't say i'm too keen on tracey emin, too much martyrdom in her work, and a messy bed is sometimes a messy bed... damien hirst, though... he's done a lot of good stuff, but all anyone's ever gonna remember him for is that bloody shark, and the sodding bifurcated cow... do a bit of digging on the interweb about him and his other stuff, it's not that bad...
(did you know he directed the "country house" video for blur? i didn't)

# absolutely...

# Gah!
Is that Brian Sewell? He makes me grind my teeth.

Enormously disagreeable man...

# it is,
i've always liked the chap (and my good father interviewed him once, later commenting on what a jolly good fellow he is).
still each to their own.

# Eeek
I just searched for her and found "My Bed". Since when is a messy bed considered art? This is crap. And I would honestly believe she made a few 'art' pieces like PUKE.

Great touch with her eye.
