# Haha
This, from the BBC site from 'Christof'

'I heard this bang and rushed out in my underplants. But it was cold so I rushed in again and went back to bed.
I thought something gone wrong next door but not the boiler becaus that only blew up last year. it turns out to be
some kind of problem in Hemel. Hemel is further away than any one thinks.'

# woman on the news
i heard an explosion and thought 'oh my god, it's the house' but then thought 'oh, the house is still here'

# A few weeks ago
on news.bbc.com, seemed to me that about half the articles were about whether or not it was right for them to use photos sent in from members of the public. Personally, I don't think that's newsworthy. It wouldn't matter too much were it not for that fact that everyone who owns a tv in the uk is paying cash for that self-referential burble. The beeb have seriously lost the plot.

# Damnit, I will not accept that!
Trash TV may rule every channel but whilst there's still a Doctor and a Tardis on the screen I will NOT stand by and listen to this slander!

I'm not in the UK and I haven't seen any of the new Doctor Who stuff. Is it any good?

# yes

# well generally
i'd agree with you, but when there was that fire in poole, my dad took a picture and sent it in and they used it as the lead picture on the local news. i was very proud of him :)

everyone else who writes in is a complete tool though. stands to reason.

# Personally
I think it's ok that they use pics that are sent it. The problem I have with it is the beeb trying to turn that fact into a news story.

I saw your dad's pic, by the way. Please let him know that I liked it ;)
