I've been trying to convert a midi file into an mp3 all afternoon, downloading and installing all sorts of free conversion programmes. But they're all written in unintelligible jargon or will only let me convert the first minute of the song or won't save. Can anybody out there tell me a free programme (don't care if it's only a 15-day trial) which will save the entire song, or perhaps convert the file for me if I send it to them?
And so this isn't threadwaste, behold my Nottingham B3ta Bash wallpaper.
edit: The wondrous mugatu's sorted it all for me, but thanks to everyone else's suggestions and offers.

It's times like this that it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.
Helping each other out, enjoying a laugh, joshing with one another. *Contented sigh*.
God, I sound old and sentimental. Someone draw a cock, quickly.

is not an audio format therefor conversion is not supposed to be possible. I suggest that you use something to convert it to WAV then convert the wav to MP3 with any old program.

edit:/ also if you find out what your e-mail server maximum file limit is I'll split Quicktime 7 pro up into manageable zips and post it to you. ( it's 21MB )

I’ve done it with creative recorder (sound blaster live card) but I would think any wav recorder would do. Set it to "what you hear". Also did the same thing with some .ram audio files. Quality seems pretty decent too.

I think it's brilliant and it's centred on my desktop as my current wallpaper.
Thank you!
Have you taken a nice photo of yourself for me to vector yet?

EDIT: I was going through some of my break beat records yesterday converting some onto CD, and I found quite a good Sex Pistols bootleg you may/may not like. I'll get it online at some point
