agreed, no compo can be bad - merely the entries, but
this one may as well have a big neon sign above it going
"What apple products do you know that you can get into a compo entry??? - an ipod, well done, you're through to round two"...

It's just that this challenge invites the lazy to repost trite and tired jokes. Apple has been the subject of too many photoshops, and the only good entries will be the meta-competitive. Same goes for any challenge involving movies or Microsoft ...
The minority magazines challenge was fresh as magazines are seldom shopped, and the idea of "minority" forced originality from the get-go.
