# No, it's not rude
and they're rarely cool.

Your drawing however, as usual, is chufftastic!

edit: At what point do you stop being an individual for doing things like because EVERYONE has them?

This is what I find most intriguing about the recent surge in 'alternative' culture and this emo shit. The ENTIRE IDEA of being punk, indie or otherwise alternative is your INDIVIDUALITY.

Unfortunately, because of crap bands and even crappier fashion, you all become the thing you're all so desperately trying to get away from.

# What gets me is all the kids today
wear the same hoodie tops, baseball caps, trainers and all the other shit. Because everybody else does.

I'm not going to rant too much.

Oops, already have.

It's a thing.

what with the trees and wolf and red riding hood. makes a great wallpaper.

# Ooh, ta.
It's a bit too rectilinear, and the wolf is insufficently ravening. I'm going to do another version. (And scan it properly, that was a really bad spur-of-the moment photo.)

# worst frickin thing that happened to the entire scene
was the pop culturizing of the fashion and music.

I can't even step FOOT in a Hot Topic.

edit: Guaranteed if it WASN'T popular, people wouldn't want to be ringed and studded. What's going to happen to the 18 year-old kid with tattoo sleeves and piercings? Of which, there are ALOT of them.

He's just limited his career choices and his life, for fashion.

# No, it's a kind of fetish, I think. Or often it is.
I think it looks a bit ugly, myself, except for earrings. Saying that makes me feel very hypocritical though. Clearly some people just feel nice within themselves and attracted to one another when stuck with various shiny things and permanently scribbled upon. Fair enough.

# ah well
isn't that what most of us do

make an arse of so many things and bin our opportunities and potential for one reason or another

but yeah, the whole identical individual thing just makes me sigh with the ultimate insignificant emptyness of it all.
