# I don't understand what you mean by directing me to the popular page.
I think I was real clear though, and in case I wasn't: I think you're being a bit of a dick lately, and you used to be a positive contributor here. That's a shame.

# I was suggesting
That it actually is a message board (hence my message, which I thought might be entertaining for a weekend post on a slow board).

I thought the point was to have fun for the users and viewers? I wanted to contribute something, but I didn't have an interesting image idea, so I thought I would type something a bit off-the-wall for (some) people to enjoy and possibly spur a new conversation. I apologize if it offended you.

# I can see that
BUT there is a talk board specifically for such jollys

# Right, ok, I stopped enforcing rules a while ago because it was getting silly
but....how is what you said in the slightest bit interesting or off the wall?

I'm all for pictureless posts if they have a point, but jesus, come on. You're american, you should know your humour limits.

# See? This one is giggling!
*points at fairly cute and giggling girl*

Sometimes it's okay to break the boundaries and stuff.

# This is true
I am humo[u]r-challenged, but I made an effort to entertain a few people.

# Meh
Keep it in an existing thread. That way you still get your say but dont offend anyone. Its like everybody wins.

# I'm absolutely not offended.
I like you and I've often enjoyed your contributions. But this is all you do lately.
If you don't have an image but want to post something off-the-wall, there is one specifically designed outlet (/talk) and one very widely accepted outlet (/board in existing thread).
I don't understand why you'd instead choose to push someone's pic off the board. It it was once it wouldn't be such a big deal to me, but you do it a lot recently.
I know some people don't mind, some mods included, but I personally don't like it and i think it potentially damages the board. I hope you don't mind me saying so, or take it too personally.

# I don't take it personally
(well not that personally)

As I said, it is slow, and I don't really do it that often. It's just to liven up conversation and add to some activity.

You do some really wonderful things, and many of them weren't an eyesore. I'm not pushing your work off the board. I'm just trying to play and have some fun. I've been here nearly 4 years and posted over 20,000 messages. I'm pretty aware of how the board works, and I obviously love it or I wouldn't have been here so long or contributed what I have.

It's about fun. Yes, images are a huge focus, but sometimes it's okay to have something that spurs emotion (even if it's text). I intended it as fun, not to shove something off or detract from anyone else's good time.
