Purchasing BETA.COM
We receive several requests to purchase BETA.COM on a daily basis. Most offer $20, or expect us to give up the domain because they want to do "something special" with it.
Despite the bland public facing, the domain is in fact well used, and there is very little desire to get rid of it. The criteria that has been selected is that we will consider selling only if the price is sufficiently high as to meet many of our project goals - we currently believe this to be between two million and three million US dollars.
If you feel you can make this offer, please submit your proposal via US mail to our administrative contact listed in the WHOIS database at com.whois-servers.net.
Email requests or offers of sharing the domain will not be entertained.
