Hoki (from New Zealand)
is better - it tastes the same and isn't endangered. You can get Hoki fish fingers now, too.

Fish is a tricky business right now. Overfishing in lots of places - there's still fish out there but it's a question of population stability.

It amuses me that fishermen always object to the idea of the EU restricting Cod Fishing to preserve stocks, saying it will cost people their livelihood.
