# Nice, but it would look better if you had an original one.

# i know, but ive tried to
come up with an original, but ive loved this design since I seen it all those years ago.... and it would fit with my other RATM tattoo

# Don't get me wrong, it's a nice design.
However, I always felt a tattoo design should be personal to the person getting it.

# I'm less of a fan of the design,
but in favour of uniquity (word?).
I always wanted an arrow-pierced heart with the words "Your Mother," but it would be stupid to ink that permanently on my body.

# tattoos are awesome until you're a 90 year old woman.
a 90 year old woman should not have a tattoo.
also tattoos of star wars are called "Decals" and should never be taken seriously.

# It doesn't fit your arm.
Maybe your guy will know this and maybe not.

The original has a nice circle at the top, the stretcher has an oval that just looks stretched, and not as strong.

The original was further back on the arm, giving a look of more forward motion, less like a shrug. The stretched version overrruns the front bicep more, and seems out of place.

To summarize: the top is too narrow and the bottom too big and/or far forward.

If you don't have it done by the guy who did the original, you will have a further problem: he or she will not give a fuck, because it's not his/her work, and it will suck.

Find an artist you like and talk.

Also this is not a b3ta type post, take it elsewhere.

I (A) Hate tatoos in general but (B) Know about asking artists (including and especially surfboard shapers) to make things they don't feel.

If you have to do (A), do not do (B).
