I am not condoning it, but they are fully aware of what they are doing.
edit: in resonse to the 'right wing' statement. The powers that be are NOT right wing, they are NOT religious fundamentalists, they are simply riding that bandwagon to maintain their vote.
...not that voting matters anymore :/

I agree that they're not very religious at all, they're just keeping up that charade in order to keep the Jesus vote, but I do think people like Dick Cheney are genuinely very right wing!
I also don't see as much conspiracy in Iraq as some people, just complete incompetence and deceit.. However people like Geoff Hoon are just lackeys, they signed up to a military jaunt that they had no control over whatsoever.
IMHO :)

I'm from a rock-solid Labour family, but I'm beginning to think it might be best to get the tories back in, just to demonstrate to idiots like Hoon and Bliar that this behavior is just not acceptable..

it s not about right or left this is just a dog and pony show, it's always about corporatism, they learn this the minute they come into office
the changes that need to be made are too radical for the voters - which involves radical changes to the banking system

we've reached an era of ideologically-bankrupt administrative government, a competition to see who's the best bank manager :(

1 term of tories to get labour back into a more sensible situation. i think i could deal with seeing david cameron on tv every day more than i could ever have with michael howard (this is solely how i base my vote)
