for being great at buying presents for people. That's the first time I've suggested a Pantone reference book though!

They can be a bit pricey. It might be worth contacting somewhere that does printing or a QC lab somewhere that deals with packaging materials (cartons, labels etc.) to try to get hold of one of their old ones as they are only guaranteed for a year when used for testing.
