Neither
It's a vector. Tracing with lines that have
various points that are connected by
mathematically calculated curves that can be
infinitely scaled up without loss of detail.

ahh,
wondered why it lacked curves. Vectoring might save you time..

yeah it would save hours
but then is it really art if you let a computer do all the work for you?

oh, come now!
that's like using a paintbrush the wrong way
round to make the painting more impressive!
I would guess it would take at least 2 hours to
vector that.....hardly effortless.
I think your image benefits from lack of vector tho. it certainly gives it a different style.

I once got dumped wit the line:
"Sorry, I can't handle your massive style"
...never did find out what that meant.

So
for it to be a proper vector drawing all these bastard lines need to be curves?

think there are programs out there that do it all mathimatically for you
but then you don't get to put your own style into it. Call it what you will, I call it "a picture wot I done"

Yeah I know you do
But I'm saying there are programs out there that do it for you, like filters only more curvyness and math like stuff

I tried one once
not much better than a normal filter really apart from being more editable afterwards.

How very dare you!
It was 4 hours worth of Polygonal tracing

She never invented the phrase
its older than the hills, I would quite like to fire her from a cannon into a stack of cannons, lying underneath a huge stack of cannons that are being held in a net dangling by a single thread that is just about to drop.
