the juxtaposition of the doctor figure, with its connotations of caring humanity but also associations of potential physical illness or abuse, and the enlarged insect heads with their 50s B movie alien fear-factor is intended to evoke a sense of unease in the viewer, which then allows for the humourous release of a modicum of existential angst in the safe environment of viewing the image on a messageboard.

Well, I sort of thought that about one yesterday. Now I'm bored of them (and myself) too.
