# Oooooo that makes me angry.
I'm a fairly placid, humble soul usually but blocking the escalator when I'm hurrying out of the tube is something I have no time for.

# OR
the ones that walk up (or down) and then stop about six steps before the top (or bottom) WHY?

Bastards the lot of em

# i take my shopping trolley on the escalator
there is a sign saying no prams, but it doesn't say no trolleys.
woo to loopholes!

# i normally take a pram on an escalator
even if there is a sign as i can never be arsed to wait for the lift.

# that's the great thing about england
people may give you dirty looks, but they rarely try to stop you or point out that you're not supposed to be doing something!

# I (still) like to run up down escalators, or down up-ones.
Keeps them in their place. Or something. Should I grow up?

# I think that's because they're not from London,
I live in Bristol and I sometimes forget to stand on the right, Because we don't have that rule here. Either that or they're just twats.

# That's cos you don't have escalators in Bristol

# We do! I saw some the other day! Magical things they are.
I think God sent them or something.

# Well I'm from Bristol, I've lived in London two years.
It may take some getting used to at quiet times but at rush hour when everyone else is standing to one side it doesn't take a genius!

It's usually groups of non-english teenagers or clueless american families.

The teenagers I can forgive as they may not read english all that well.

I tend to push through the Americans.

# tell them they have to buy a
"stand on the left" pass. Get them to ask for one at the ticket counter.

# there are signs!
grrr....

I saw some bloke have a go at someone the other day saying, "I'm sorry, I thought six signs up the escalotor was enough, obviously I';m, a bit thick"

Bit more sarcastic than was neccessary, but still...

Plus you'd think people would look and go "Oh, everyon else is standing on the right and walkin g on the left. I wonder why that is"

RANT OVER
