# with the little girl and the wino
it was more of a clear cut case I suppose, than if you had two similar cases. And thats without taking into account compatability and all that.

She has nothing to do with her illness, cruel twist of fate. He on the other hand, knew the risks, and went ahead anyway.

But I agree, such issues are complicated

# There are some outstandingly great moral dilemmas based around organ transplants.
For instance, what is it that's wrong about killing somebody in order to donate all their body parts to other individuals who would otherwise quickly die? The principle of ownership of one's own body parts, that's what. Which would seem to suggest that you can (morally) fuck up as many livers as you like without being refused new ones.

# SO
If by killing one person you could save 4 others, 2 people get kidneys, 1 a liver, 1 heart lung, then we should kill off people even if they are fine as 3 other lives will be saved.

# Better still
would be to have a liver lottery ona wednesday night. We can line up some C list celebrities to start up Lancelot and away they go. Livers slopping around inside, until a platform rises up, pulling with it a spray painted liver with a number on. Then voiceover man can talk about who its going too whilst the organ people put it in their picnic box and whisk it away to Dudley*.

*Dudley is an example, if this idea comes to fruition and someone from Dudley DOES win then it is entirely coincidental.
