# Uh...yeah...I dunno.

She's pretty ugly. But I want the guitar.
Also, Cadbury creme eggs. Also, Trigun hat. ^.^

# She looks
somewhat like Juliette Lewis.
But with different hair.

Anyway, it's very nice. :)

# Hahah
Juliette and the Licks, right?

# Oh yeh!
I'd forgotten about that...

I was thinking Natural Born Killers. :p

# Yummeh!

# Oooh
That's a pretty one. I have a crappy guitar, but iy serves me well. ^.^
Daddy had a custard yellow Telecaster and traded for a powder blue Strat.

# strats do everything though
they work in all genres

# Point.
But I still miss the Telecaster. He had since I was born I think. He may have recently sold the Strat. I don't remember. :[

They're proper real guitars, like...

# They're well
nice, innit. ;]

I also wouldn't mind a Daisy Rock. They're so pretty, and god are they just nice to play. But Daisy Rock is a shit name.

# I've got a tatty cheap squier tele
Sure, it's no Fender, but it sounds pretty good all the same, and has been damaged and hacked up a bit (non-stock neck pickup, new pots and switches, controls fully reversed (switch in front position selects bridge pickup...))
Also, I'd damage an expensive guitar, too, I'm crude and clumsy...

# I'm always banging my guitar into shit
Hahah. I have an Epiphone Special. Special meaning cheap and made for learners. ^.^

# My first guitar
was a 70's Tele deluxe in ash. Happy accident. The parents had agreed to buy a guitar and one day in a furniture auction of all places my mother was looking for a dresser when I spotted a Telecaster in the lots. £30 in 1978. I was ecstatic to get a decent guitar and they were happy to not spend much ( oh that was with a practice amp and case ). I suspect now that the vendor was clueless. As was my Dad when some years later he sold my Strat in flight case for £85 because I'd long left home and he "assumed I did not want it any longer "

# I always hope to stumble across things like that...
It never happens. I blame the internet.
Though, possibly, non-guitar related, my Casio VL-1 counts. I paid €2 for it on a flea market, and found out that some people were willing to pay up to $180 for it.

# She has a tall head!
And the smoke layer is a bit low D:

But I like the new shading =]
(, Fri 22 Feb 2008, 23:48, archived)
# Hahah
I know. The proportions are a bit (very) off. xp
Low as in opacity? I know.

Thank you. I took you're advice. 'Tis burn and doge. ^.^
(, Fri 22 Feb 2008, 23:51, archived)
# AREN'T THEY GRAND? =D
And I didn't mean opacity wise, it looks a bit like the lineart for bits of it are higher up on the layers than the smoke.

I love burn and dodge though, they are awesome to the max.
(, Fri 22 Feb 2008, 23:58, archived)
# YES THEY ARE
And yeah, I knoow. But I wasn't sure if it should be see-through or not. You think not?

They are. I usually only use dodge for hair, but I've been feeling lazy about choosing shadow colors lately. xp
(, Sat 23 Feb 2008, 0:10, archived)
# As long as you know what you're going for with the dodge and burn
Because highlights/midtones/shadows all do different things and help get different gradients and colours.

I think the smoke layer should be on top, but slightly transparent, it should never be underneath the lineart :3

# Okay
*remembers*
Thank you! ^.^
