# waddayaknow
i've seen that fillum, the japanese version, and was thoroughly unimpressed by it. silly and boring apart from the tv moment that you mention. but i can't remember that girl in that room in the above picture. maybe that's the remake?
(, Fri 21 Feb 2003, 0:48, archived)
# yeah the pic is from the remake
I've heard lots of good stuff about it.
It's refreshing to know that things can still come out well after a hollywoodisation.

# not looked
but is that when she did Cher on Stars in their eyes (not seen that either) I imagine that's pretty scary though.
(, Fri 21 Feb 2003, 1:19, archived)
# No...
and I will explain this in the most graphical terms to warn off anybody trawling through the archives... it is Ms Vorderman in 'that' dress and... (can't do it. yet. must. go on...) and Ms Vorderman climbing out of a pool in a biki*

# it's suprisingly good for a remake
has the same beginning and end, but the route it takes between the two is very different. If anything the American version leaves more to the imagination, which is unusual.
(, Fri 21 Feb 2003, 0:46, archived)
# Y'see, I like the Interwebnet
I learn stuff. Japanese version? Yes please. I plan on looking it up tomorrow, but if you chose to provide a useful link now, it would be right neighbourly of you.

ring 0 was on sky movies the other day but i missed it.

# Sounds liek
it might be from a fillum. But I'm as blank as you are yet...
(, Fri 21 Feb 2003, 0:42, archived)
# you've never seen the movie
but I think it's safe to say this:

I spotted a lot of homage (I know it's disgusting, but I'm drunk) to The Shining.

This, to me, just oozes the two girls in the hall. There is also a 'winding road' moment to look out for.
